Well, what a week we have had!

It has been an exciting and very busy week for Eldnar Consultancy, and not just on the work front!

Beth (Dennis) has been working hard for weeks (months!) to prepare her submissions for her final interview with the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) to fully qualify as a Chartered Surveyor.  Her interview was on the 17 June and then there was a tense week long wait for the results.  Of course, she passed with flying colours and is now very happy to put the letters MRICS behind her name and well as successfully completing the registration process to become a Registered Valuer.  Beth has applied herself well, and Eleni has given expert help and support to enable Beth to reach her career goals.  Well done, Beth!

Then on Thursday 30 June Eleni and Beth went to Millennium Point in Birmingham for the Royal Town Planners Institute (RTPI) West Midlands Summer Ball and awards evening as finalists for the ‘Excellence in Planning’ Small Planning Consultancy of the Year.  They won the accolade, with the judges commenting, “For a small consultancy, they have a range and depth of knowledge that serves their client-base well.  Impressive.”  Eldnar is proud to have this recognition from the RTPI, and as West Midlands Small Consultancy of the Year they go forward to the national awards later in the year.  Eldnar prides itself on providing the best possible service to their clients, in terms of knowledge, skill and expertise and this award recognises that.  This now means we have won awards from both the RICS and RTPI respectively since establishment.

Finally, on 2 July Eldnar hosted a trade stand at Hanbury Show.  Trade events take a good deal of organising to set up but the whole Eldnar team helped to ensure the stand looked good.  The team enjoyed speaking to so many people, sharing a drink or two whilst discussing people’s plans and aspirations requiring specialist planning or surveying advice.  The weather was rather showery but that did not appear to dampen anyone’s spirits, and everyone seemed to be having a great day out. The Eldnar stand was particularly dog friendly with a dog water station, complete with dog ‘gravy bones’, courtesy of office dog ‘Moose’ for all our doggy visitors, and many of the passing-by dogs as well!  Eldnar branded dog leads were a particular ‘hit’!  Eldnar had an enjoyable day out and about meeting everyone!
