INTRODUCING BETH DENNIS – SURVEYOR

After my post in June, looking for a someone to come and join me, I am pleased to announce that Beth Dennis has joined Eldnar Consultancy!

Beth joins as a surveyor and will be working on planning and valuation work whilst working towards becoming Chartered.  In addition, she has an area of expertise which will improve the current offering in relation to compensation and access and rights over land which will work well for both existing and new clients.  Here is what Beth has to say by way of introduction:

“I am Beth, a rural surveyor in training.  I was brought up in the rural Worcestershire/Herefordshire area and now live in the east of Worcestershire.  I completed my degree at Harper Adams University in Rural Enterprise and Land Management and have spent the last couple of years working in the rural utilities and infrastructure sector.  This has involved working for large national clients providing advice on access and rights, compensation and acquisition matters and landowner liaison. From this experience I have developed key skills including stakeholder management, client care, communication, negotiation and decision making.

I have always had an interest in rural planning and development and completed my dissertation around the topic of permitted development use.  This led me to a move to Eldnar where I will be able to explore planning and development as well as other areas of rural surveying.  I am hoping to further my skills I already have and add more!  When not working I spend my time with my dog in the countryside, exploring anywhere and everywhere and attempting all sorts of crafts.”
